What happened last month

[Done] New coins: Last month, we introduced two brand new coins on WazirX, and both of them are hot favourite amongst traders right now! You can now buy, sell, trade BitTorrent (BTT) and Fetch.AI (FET) in our USDT and BTC markets. Both appear promising! Also, in case you don’t know already, BTT has a monthly airdrop on the 11th of every month, and you can claim it on WazirX. 💪

[Done] Tezos trading: We’re the first Indian crypto exchange to list Tezos (XTZ) in January. Now you can buy sell, trade it in our USDT market.

[Done] WRX mining rewards update: We’d introduced WRX mining as India’s largest crypto mining rewards, and we’re so happy to see you all participate, unlock, and earn lakhs of WRX! 🙌 Now we’ve raised the mining difficulty of WRX and halved the bounty rewards for trades performed from 11th February. [Done] First scheduled maintenance: We underwent our first ever scheduled maintenance on 10th February to upgrade our system, and make WazirX better, and more robust for you.

[Done] Highest Trader Kaun for BTT: Seeing people’s craze around BTT, we decided to also help you earn bounty by participating in Highest Trader Kaun. In the contest, we gave away total ₹40,000 worth BTT to the winners! Read more about the contest here.

[Done] NPXS Airdrop credit: We successfully credited the NPXS tokens unlocked in January to all the eligible holders. WazirX is an official Pundi X exchange partner, and has the highest liquidity of NPXS in India! Read about the the new airdrop method here.

Last week, we also saw the Supreme Court give the Union of India 4 weeks to come up with crypto regulation draft before it reaches a decision. It’s a great news, and now let’s wait for our government to come up with a regulation draft. I’m really optimistic that our government will come up with a positive crypto regulation soon!
