Nebulas is a blockchain-specific search engine. It employs Nebulas Rank, a unique algorithm for determining the best users and apps across blockchains. This enables it to identify the largest contributors to blockchain communities and reward those who participate in their own.
Nebulas has also designed a dynamic programming environment that is well-equipped to handle future improvements. Along with its 'value' ranking, Nebulas sparked a self-evolving ecosystem for their blockchain, which isolates their Nebulas Virtual Machine (NVM) and upgrades from node clients. This means that, as the NVM is improved, wallets, exchanges, and nodes have no responsibility to upgrade their software.

Proof of devotion (PoD) is a mix of Proof of Importance (PoI) and Proof of Stake, according to the Nebulas whitepaper (PoS). Users can become bookkeepers after attaining a particular NR threshold. By verifying blocks, bookkeepers get block rewards and transaction fees (both paid from the community fund).
Nebulas Force (NF) is an AI layer built on top of the Nebulas blockchain that ensures Nebulas NOVA updates automatically thanks to a partnership with DeepCloudAI. As quantum computing continues to push the blockchain to its boundaries, this will be a valuable tool for the platform.
Use of Native tokens in the ecosystem: NAS is Nebulas' native coin, which can be used to pay transaction fees and compute service fees.
