Overview
The Origin Protocol aims to build a shared economy marketplace where buyers and sellers have sovereignty over their data, transaction fees are dramatically lowered, and identity verification and reputation scores are provided. These reputation scores are intended to be transferable across various shared economy verticals, allowing vendors to supply services in a variety of formats while remaining confident that they will be trusted to complete the work.
The Origin DApp is an open-source HTML and JavaScript application that connects buyers and sellers. It allows them to meet, chat, and transact. It also gives sellers the option of creating, managing, validating, and publishing listings. Many front-end applications will most likely be built on top of the Origin protocol.
