Axie Infinity is a distributed application that uses bespoke smart contracts to run on the Ethereum Network, Loom Network, and Ronin Network. It leverages both Ethereum token standards ERC-20 and ERC-721. ERC-721 NFTs, stored in users' wallets, represent all unique in-game assets. SLP and AXS are fungible ERC-20 tokens used in the game. Since it's based on Ethereum, it uses solidity as its programming language. Use of Native tokens in the ecosystem: AXS is the native token of Axie infinity.
