Cartesi is a Layer-2 platform for decentralized application creation and deployment. It uses a hybrid application design that comprises both on-chain and off-chain components to scale its network. The on-chain component is based on a network of Cartesi Nodes, each representing the interests of a single application user. The off-chain component consists of native and reproducible components.
-Native components are directly run in the hardware of the host.
-Reproducible components run inside the cartesi machine controlled by the cartesi nodes.
CTSI is hosted on the Ethereum blockchain and supports Solidity as its programming language.
