Impermax allows providing indirect liquidity. This means that liquidity providers can lend funds to other providers, who use them to earn AMM profits and then share the profits with the lender. Any impermanent losses are borne by the borrower. The indirect liquidity provider is free to produce the farm without the risk of impermanent loss. It currently works on Ethereum, Polygon and Arbritum. Some yield producers (also known as AMM liquidity providers) are looking to eliminate impermanent losses while still making a profit. Other productive farmers are looking for ways to increase their yields and not worry too much about impermanent losses. Impermax solves both of these problems by allowing risk-averse farmers to lend funds to risk-averse farmers. The core liquidity providers on the MMA (like Uniswap) profit from trading fees and liquidity mining. Impermax allows users to significantly increase or decrease the risk and reward of these returns.
Use of Native tokens in the ecosystem:
Impermax uses a feature known as leveraged yield farming, with which borrowers can get loans to improve their positions in a farm by using their current LP tokens as collateral.
