Lisk is a blockchain application platform which is based on its own network and utility token LSK. Lisk incorporates the primary goal to enable JavaScript developers to build blockchain applications and deploy their own side chains which could be further utilized by linking them to the Lisk mainchain; it would be inclusive of a custom token. Lisk uses a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) formula for its consensus mechanism. It is similar to the BitShares DPoS accord and has been ascertained in many alternative cryptocurrencies like Greek deity, Tron and Steem. Each LSK token holder will vote for up to a hundred and one delegates, wherever the load of the vote is given by the account balance.
The a hundred and one delegates with the biggest overall weight are known as active delegates. These active delegates propose new blocks that are additional to the Lisk blockchain and valid by each node within the network. Any account will become a delegate, however solely the hundred and one accounts with the foremost votes weighted by stake are allowed to get blocks.
A delegated party is rewarded for securing the network with LSK tokens beginning with five LSK up to block no 1,451,520 then reduced by one for each three million valid blocks.
Use of Native tokens in the ecosystem: LIsk is used to pay for transaction fees on the Lisk blockchain. As well as for staking and earning rewards
