Overview
Ontology is a public blockchain that brings decentralized identity and data solutions to Web 3.0 at a reasonable cost. Its open-source network serves as a platform for the construction of smart contracts and the deployment of decentralized applications. The project's main goal is to make self-sovereign identity (ID) and data management easier. A two-token scheme is used in Ontology. Holders of ONT can contribute to the network's security mechanism and vote on governance choices, whilst holders of ONG can pay transaction fees.
