About  Threshold

The Threshold network offers cryptographic tools for different dApps. It resulted from merging the Keep Network and NuCypher on January 1, 2022, marked by the launch of the T token. This token serves as both a utility and governance token for the Threshold Network and DAO, respectively. For the network, T tokens are used to stake nodes, earning operators fees from applications using its cryptographic tools. As a governance token, users can lock T tokens in coverage pools, gaining yield by taking on collateral risk in the network.
