I had spoken about two major milestone announcements last week. While we hit the milestones, we were busy with polishing our XRP integration and hence did not find the time to announce it! We’ll announce them this week. You’ll be proud to be a part of this tribe.

What happened last week

1. [Done] Instant INR Withdrawals: Done, done and done! We’re now the only crypto exchange in India that offer both -> Instant INR withdrawals and Free instant INR deposits.
2. [Done] XRP Listing: We successfully listed XRP. We had a great opening and it has helped us increase our daily trading volumes.

What we’re building this week

1. ​Ethereum Integration: We’re currently working on integrating the Ethereum Blockchain. Once we finish this integration, we’ll be able to list any ERC20 token that you want. We’ll need more than a week to finish. Tentatively, ERC20 tokens will start listing on WazirX from next week.
2. Maker — Taker Model: We’ll announce our trading fees and our fee structure tentatively this week. I’ll blog about it and the reasons behind bringing in the Maker Taker model.
3. [Ongoing] Reducing BTC withdrawal fees: We couldn’t find time to work on this last week. We’ll get it done this week. Expect an announcement soon!
4. [Ongoing] Android and iOS order book indicator: We’re almost done with this. The team is rolling out app updates as I write this blog post. I think they’re having dinner, can’t find them around. They should push this update once they’re back. It’s good to have them publish updates with their stomach full I guess.
5. Themes: We’re bringing in dark mode to our Android and iOS apps. It should launch by the end of this week! I’m using it already and I absolutely love the dark mode that the team has built. It’s delicious and I’m sure you’ll love it too.
6. Notifications: We’re working on notifications for order completion as well as price alerts. We may not be able to complete it this week so tentatively, we should be able to launch this next week. Price alerts will help you jump in and trade whenever a price you’re interested in triggers.

WRX Update

I’ve been keeping you updated on WRX in every blog post. While we’re not going to start work on WRX integration this week, we’ll be picking up the work from next week if we’re able to get done with all the work that we have planned for this week. Our first step would be to display your WRX balance within WazirX.

It is my responsibility to make sure that WRX grows and gets a great adoption across India and eventually around the world. Great things take time and planning. We’re all in this together and I’m sure, together, as a tribe, we’ll be able to take WRX to the moon! Great things come to those who’re patient.

In the meanwhile, do invite all your friends and keep accumulating more WRX coins. Hard work is the only way to earn WRX and may the most hardworking tribe members win!

Some achievements last week

1. ​Highest volume day: We’ve yet again beat our previous high of Rs. 25 Lakhs. This week we had our highest trade volume of about Rs. 40 Lakhs. Our first target is to have a 24 hour high of Rs. 1 Crore. We’re confident we’ll reach there soon with your help.
2. Total trades in week 3 increased by 50% compared to week 2!
3. Average app rating increased from 3.84 to 4.32!
4. We crossed 16,000 members on our telegram announcement channel

We’ve been getting amazing reviews from our tribe about the trading experience on WazirX and that keeps us motivated to build a better trading experience for you every day. Our volumes have been growing week on week and we will continue to do that.
