Week 3 Update: 30,000 KYC submissions crossed, First Alpha testing winners and I just got married!

Namaste Tribe! I got married this weekend! Woah! I never thought I had it in me to promise someone I would be in love forever, but when you meet the right person, you know it’s the right thing to do!

I prefer sharing our weekly updates on Mondays but I hope you can excuse me for the delay as I had a wedding to attend 😉

What happened last week

Successfully completed Alpha testing of our Android and iOS apps. As promised last week, we were able to successfully run our first alpha test. Things started off a little choppy, with some glitches but we managed to get things back on track quickly and then we saw our systems scale beautifully to the thousands of trades that each one of you were executing. We got a ton of feedback, some bugs and a lot of love from all of you! We’re working on improving the app from all the feedback received. Winners of the Alpha Testing Rewards program are at the end of this post 🙂
Our Media Kit is not live yet. We’re planning to make it live this week. We’re behind schedule on this one.
Referral Counter — We could not pick this up as alpha testing took a lot of our time. We plan to finish it this week.
Login OTP Module — It’s done for iOS and Android but pending for website. We’ll finish it off this week. We will have OTP based 2 step login right from day 1 of trading. Your security is important and hence we’ve made sure this is done.
Forgot Password — Successfully made live last week. If you’ve forgotten your password then you can easily reset it now!

What are we building this week?

Make the website, iOS and android apps ready for testing phase. We will announce the date of our next round of testing. This round will have all three platforms -> Android, iOS and Web!
Withdrawal OTP module – This will ensure that there’s added security when you want to withdraw cryptocurrency or INR.
Referral Counter- We’ll continue working on this and try to make it live this week
Fix bugs identified in round 1 of alpha testing

Two Big Announcements:

30,000 KYC submissions done 🎉 Which also means we’re now reducing the number of WRX coins you earn for signups from 250 to 100. New users who signup from Wed 21–02–2018 12:30 PM onwards will receive 100 WRX coins. If you join through someone’s referral link then you will get an extra 100 WRX as before. So the best way is to find someone’s referral code and then signup for WazirX. And then share your own referral link with others so you continue to earn more.

Everyone else who completed 10 or more trades will receive 100 WRX each ✨
