Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance have begun an exclusive multi-year Non-fungible Tokens (NFT) partnership. Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and a member of Portugal’s national football team. Binance is a blockchain ecosystem and digital asset exchange platform that combines digital technology and finance.
Binance will start a global advertising effort to expose Web3 to Ronaldo’s fans and give them a doorway into the world of NFTs.
Taking Football to the next level
The 37-year-old footballer’s Web3 community will also be open to fans of Ronaldo, a.k.a. CR7. Ronaldo, who currently holds the record for most goals scored (117) while playing for a national team, discussed his choice to partner with the cryptocurrency exchange in a video posted on Binance’s Twitter account.
