If elected president in 2023, Adewole Adebayo, the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) presidential candidate, promised to create thirty million employment using cutting-edge technology like blockchain and Crypto.
Adebayo, who made a guest appearance on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, stated that his goal was to lower unemployment and promote economic growth in the country, which is consistent with the party’s platform.
He asserted that unemployment is the nation’s central issue and that employing government action to create jobs is useless and insufficient to address the issue.
How can Crypto help?
Adewole Adebayo, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate in Nigeria, promised to use various technologies, including blockchain and virtual currencies, to address the country’s unemployment issues during a recent TV interview.
The 50-year-old attorney claimed he had spoken with the National Chamber of Commerce and the US Black Chamber of Commerce about the proposal. In addition, he has served as a general advisor to those associated with these organizations, ensuring that they have recently created a large number of jobs around the world:
“I told them, ‘Look, you know we have done these things before in many countries, and I have been your adviser, and we have done all of these things. In my country, I know the objective conditions that we can create for you to come to Nigeria, and we can create jobs.”
“We sat down together and we looked at it in various sectors – agro-allied, alternative energy, infrastructure, health, and social services, new technologies such as blockchain and Crypto technology – we discovered that we can create three million jobs times 10 – 30 million jobs – using 2,000 companies and bringing the production that they are doing into the country.”
