The India Blockchain Forum has officially been launched by influential figures working in the Indian blockchain sector. The forum plans to develop a solid framework to make India a global center for Blockchain and Web 3.0 through collaboration with governments, regulators, industry, and academics.
According to sources, the organization’s principal secretary for industry, commerce, and information technology for the Telangana government, Jayesh Ranjan, launched it.
The India Blockchain Forum (IBF) plans to establish local chapters around India to improve education and provide access to the most advanced global crypto practices. IBF will also allow stakeholders to join in building the biggest web3.0 community.
The current members include experts in policy drafting, upcoming frontiers like NFTs, Metaverse, and CBDC, cybersecurity, technological architects, world influencers, and pioneers in enterprise use of blockchain and Web 3.0.
The five founding members are Prasanna Lohar, CEO, Block Stack; Pankaj Diwan, founder & CEO, Idealab’s FutureTech Ventures; Col. Inderjit Singh (Retd.), chief cybersecurity officer, Vara Technologies; Sharat Chandra, Blockchain evangelist; and Srinivas Mahankali, chief business officer, Secure Kloud Technologies.
Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, the Industries and IT Secretary who introduced the conference, praised the team’s collaborative efforts in developing an all-encompassing platform for accelerating blockchain adoption in India and fostering the ecosystem’s expansion.
