BEAM is the next generation confidential cryptocurrency based on an exceptionally elegant and unique protocol called Mimbleware.
BEAM allows its users to have complete control over privacy - a user decides how the information may be distributed and to whom while having complete control on the personal data in accordance with the rules of engagement
Confidential transactions do not lead to the bloating
of the blockchain while avoiding excessive computational charges or any penalty on performance and even scalability while the transaction value remains concealed.
There is no requirement to have a trusted setup, the blocks are mined using Beam Hash.
