Crypto Futures: Feature Improvements
June was our biggest month yet for WazirX Futures, with improvements spanning trading capabilities, risk management, desktop trading, and account operations.
Higher Leverage upto 150x
Flexibility is what makes for a great futures trading experience. Now you can trade crypto futures with up to 150x leverage for select trading pairs.
More Markets to Trade
We expanded our Futures offering by listing 60+ new Futures markets, giving traders access to a wider range of crypto assets and more opportunities to diversify their trading strategies.
Better Risk Management Tools
Risk management became significantly more flexible with the launch of Take Profit and Stop Loss (TP/SL) for Futures, Market, and Limit orders

Trade Crypto Futures from your browser. Execute limit orders and enjoy a fast, responsive interface designed for every screen size.
Withdraw Larger Amounts With Higher Limits
You can now withdraw up to ₹10 lakh from your Futures wallet, making it easier to move larger amounts whenever you need to.
More Tokens to Explore
We expanded our Spot marketplace with 5 new token listings during June, giving access to a wider range of crypto to buy, sell.
Compliance and Security Improvements
A Smoother Re-KYC Experience
Completing Re-KYC is now easier. You’ll receive timely reminder emails, and if you’re eligible, you can continue using the platform while completing your verification. Re-KYC popups will also appear only when needed during your grace period.
Enjoy a More Secure WazirX Experience
Your account is now better protected with additional security enhancements. Sensitive information is automatically blurred whenever the app moves to the background, helping keep your account private. We’ve also added jailbreak and root detection to provide an extra layer of security when you use the WazirX app.
Real-Time Balances after Order Placements and Fund Transfers
Your wallet balances and open positions now refresh automatically, so you always see the latest information without needing to manually refresh the app. We’ve also improved INR number formatting across the platform, making balances, prices, and portfolio values easier to read at a glance.
Events Recap
- SHM Airdrop: Sikka.fun Airdrop Phase 6 went live in June, offering the first 1,000 eligible WazirX users 40,000 SHM each. Over 5,000 users have already participated across Phases 1 to 5.
- Four rounds of the Highest Futures Trader Kaun contest ran through June (5–9, 11–15, 17–21, and 24–28 June), each with a ₹2,00,000 reward pool for the top 100 Futures traders by trading volume.
- A new round of Highest Trader Kaun: USDT/INR ran from 9th to 14th June, with the top 100 USDT/INR traders sharing a ₹2,50,000 reward pool.
- The month-long Futures First Challenge kicked off 1st July: complete 5 successful Futures trades to win from a ₹1 Crore reward pool, open to the first 10,000 users with up to ₹1,000 per user.
