Namaste Tribe! Theta Mainnet launch is around the corner, and WazirX fully supports the upgrade, and the token swap that will happen along with it.
Theta Mainnet swap
The Theta native blockchain will launch on 15th March. To ensure a smooth transition, we’ll pause THETA deposits and withdrawals from 11th March 9PM IST until the mainnet is stable, and the token swap is complete.
TFUEL Distribution
We also support the distribution of Theta Fuel (TFUEL) to THETA holders. TFUEL will be airdropped to THETA holders in a 1:5 ratio. For example, if you’re holding 1,000 Theta, you’ll get 5,000 TFUEL.
We’ll take a snapshot of your THETA balance on 12th March at 9 PM IST, and distribute TFUEL to the eligible users after the mainnet swap is complete.
What do I need to do?
Nothing! If you’re holding Theta on WazirX, you don’t need to do anything at all. When the token swap happens, we’ll handle all technical requirements to ensure a smooth transition for you. We’ll also make an announcement after the swap is complete, and when deposits and withdrawals resume.
