In the past year, WazirX has conducted specialized training sessions for law enforcement agencies, and government bodies, including Cyber Crime Units [CCU] in Bhopal and Goa, Vigilance Directorate in Odisha, EOW in Bhubaneswar, National Investigation Agency, Lucknow Police Headquarters, JCCT Guwahati & Cyber Crime North East Region. The sessions covered a spectrum of topics, from the history of money and crypto to the application of Blockchain in Cyber Security.

Partnering with law enforcement agencies, WazirX has also helped solve key cases that involved Virtual Digital Assets (VDA) for illicit transactions. WazirX worked with Enforcement Directorates in various cities to crack down on such cases. It also demonstrated in real time how cases can be solved by tracing the movement of VDA across blockchain, and assisted law enforcement with ample information which was crucial in nabbing the culprits. In one of the cases, transactions worth over Rs 7,000 crore were carried out from over 300+ accounts with a fraudulent mobile gaming application, e-Nuggets in Kolkata. In another case, an MLM scheme was being run by an individual in Bhubaneswar using a digital token which the local community had started using and investing in. WazirX helped identify the fund movement and legal ramifications of such illicit transactions.

Notably, Mr. Ishan Kanungo, Legal Manager, WazirX, a pivotal figure in these initiatives, received acknowledgment from IGP Shri J.N Pankaj, IPS, Economic Offences Wing, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for his significant contributions to advancing crypto investigations.
