Completing the KYC Process
KYC is the second step after you have created your account on WazirX. Herein, we at WazirX verify your details and ensure that you have a smooth, secure, and fulfilling experience with us. Let us see how to complete the process:
Step 1: Start the process: Where to find the option for KYC verification on WazirX?
Mobile:
- Go to User settings from the top left button.
2. Click on the “Verify your KYC” section.

Similarly, click on Verify your KYC in settings.
Step 2: KYC Process Initiation
Mobile:
- Read the steps and understand what documentation (PAN, Aadhar/Passport/Driving License) will be required.
- Click on Complete KYC Now.
Web:
- Enter your personal information shown below.
Step 3: Selfie Verification
Mobile:
- Click on next after ensuring the parameters of a good selfie.
Please note, while taking the selfie:
- No glasses are to be worn.
- No hats are to be worn.
- The face should be clearly visible.
- Ensure that there is good lighting on your face.
- Look directly at the camera.
- Click a Selfie.
- Ensure that the Selfie has a “Green Circle” around it.
- Click on Next.

- Capture a Selfie through the webcam of your device
Step 4: PAN Verification
Mobile:
- Ensure all parameters of capturing PAN match.
- Click on Next.
- Capture the front of the PAN Card within the box.
- Capture the back of the PAN Card within the box.
Web:
- Capture PAN by placing it on a white sheet.
Step 5: Address Verification
Mobile:
- Choose your preferred document for proof of address.
- Ensure the parameters of capturing are met.
- Capture the front of the document, and ensure it is within the box.
- Capture the back of the document, and ensure that it is within the box.
Web:
- Select Document Type for Address Verification.
- Enter the details asked for (Aadhar Number/Passport Number/Driving License Number).
- Re-enter the Number.
- Capture the front of the document.
- Capture the back of the document.
Step 6: Submit KYC:
Step 7: KYC Verification.
Once you have submitted the documents, they will be reviewed, and once the process is complete, you will receive an email from us.
Our team completes the KYC verification within minutes. However, it can take up to 3 business days in some instances. Once the verification is complete, you can start your crypto journey on WazirX.
