Completing the KYC Process as a Corporate
Step 1
- Sign up into your WazirX account
Mobile:
I. Go to User settings from the top left button.
II. Click on the “Verify your KYC” section.
Web:
Similarly, click on Verify your KYC in settings.
Step 2
- Select “Company” from the drop-down under “Type of KYC”
Step 3
- Select the “Sub type of KYC” from the drop-down
- Submit the required personal information
- Corporate Info: Applicable for everyone
- Name of the Entity: Enter the name of your Company/LLP/Partnership Firm/HUF as it appears on PAN
- Date of Incorporation: Enter the Date of Incorporation/Formation as it appears on PAN
- Address: Enter the registered address of your Company/LLP/Partnership Firm/HUF
For Limited Company
Step 4
- Enter PAN details: This section has to be filled according to the type of KYC selected
- Limited Company: Enter your Company PAN in the “PAN” section and upload a PNG/ JPEG file of the same
Step 5:
- Upload the required documents in the Document section according to the sub-KYC type selected
- Company: Upload a PDF file of the Incorporation Certificate of the Company in the section, enter the Company Identification Number and physically signed Authority Letter authorizing director/s to open and operate an account with WazirX.
Step 6:
Selfie section
- Company: Upload a selfie of any one Director holding his/her own and the Company’s PAN card
For LLP
Step 4:
- Enter PAN details: This section has to be filled according to the type of KYC selected
- LLP: Enter your LLP PAN in the “PAN” section and upload a PDF/JPEG file of the same
Step 5
- Upload the required documents in the Document section according to the sub-KYC type selected
- LLP: Upload a PDF file of the Incorporation Certificate of the LLP in the section and physically signed Authority Letter authorizing partner/s to open and operate an account with WazirX. Enter LLPIN and upload LLP deed along with partner’s PAN.
Step 6
Selfie section
- LLP: Upload a selfie of any one partner holding his/her own and firm’s PAN card
For Partnership Firms
Step 4
- Enter PAN details: This section has to be filled according to the type of KYC selected
- Partnership: Enter your Partnership firm PAN in the “PAN” section and upload a PDF/JPEG file of the same
Step 5
- Upload the required documents in the Document section according to the sub-KYC type selected
- Partnership: Upload the Registration Certificate issued by the Registrar of Firms in the section and physically signed Authority Letter authorizing partner/s to open and operate an account with WazirX. Further, upload your GST registration/Udyog Aadhar/ Udyam Aadhar/IEC/other certificates in the section.
Step 6
Selfie section
- Partnership: Upload a selfie of any one partner holding his/her own and firm’s PAN card
For HUF
Step 4:
- Enter PAN details: This section has to be filled according to the type of KYC selected
- HUF: Enter your HUF firm’s PAN in the “PAN” section and upload a PDF/JPEG file of the same
Step 5
- Upload the required documents in the Document section according to the sub-KYC type selected
- HUF: Upload the physically signed Authority Letter authorizing karta/s to open and operate an account with WazirX. Additionally, upload the PAN of the Karta and enter the Aadhaar number of Karta of HUF. Upload the PDF of the Aadhar in the section and upload a copy of the canceled cheque of the HUF bank account.
Step 6
Selfie section
- HUF: Upload a selfie of Karta of HUF holding their individual PAN and HUF PAN card
Step 7
- Click on “Submit for verification”
Step 8
- Email us at [email protected] as soon as you’ve completed the signup process and submitted all the documents. The email should include:
- Required for everyone: Share the email address that you’ll use to register an account on WazirX with us at [email protected]
- Required for everyone: Share a video KYC of the authorized person/ Director/ Partner/Karta (as per the Authority letter) holding the Company/Firm/ HUF’s PAN and own PAN one by one. The details of the ID should be clearly readable. The Director has to read out the following text in the video :
- “I <Name> having PAN No <>, recording this video on <today’s date> for KYC verification of my Corporate account of <Company/ Firm/ HUF name> having PAN number <Company/ Firm/ HUF PAN> on WazirX cryptocurrency exchange. Registered email address of my Company/ Firm/ HUF is <Email ID>. Me and my Company/ Firm/ HUF will be fully responsible and sole owner of all the trades, deposits, and withdrawals on this WazirX account.”
- Required for Partnership
- Partnership deed
- Copy of PAN and Aadhaar of all partners
- Copy of canceled cheque having the name of the firm on the cheque
- PDF file of a signed authority letter authorizing the partners to open and operate an account with WazirX
- Required for HUF
- Copy of PAN Card of Karta
- Copy of canceled cheque having the name of HUF
We’ll approve your KYC if the documents match the criteria. Kindly note that approval is subjective to the submission of required documents accordingly. The team will contact you if any other documents are required.
Our team completes the KYC verification within minutes. However, it can take up to 3 business days in some instances. Once the verification is complete, you can start your corporate crypto journey on WazirX.
